Taiwan Cha is a platform, that introduces Taiwanese culture and life and hopes to raise consciousness about this Pacific island nation among Europeans. We write about Taiwanese culture, history and curiosities, offers tea directly from small Taiwanese farms, distribute Taiwanese literature translated into Czech and organizes lectures and talks.

We offer Tea directly from Taiwanese farmers

A year's study in Taiwan and a crowdfunding research trip through the Taiwanese countryside allowed us to personally visit and establish partnerships with small Taiwanese Tea farms. Each one is characterized by something specific, ranging from traditional farming methods maintained for many generations, to new farmers who participate in the development of new cultivars and methods of processing tea, to young growers who have chosen an organic cultivation.

You can buy our tea in our e-shop or try it at various events that we participate in. We will also be happy to organize a tea tasting at your place. For international orders, please e-mail us first.

We distribute and popularize Taiwanese Literature

V cílem rozšířit povědomí o tomto pacifickém státě nabízíme sbírku taiwanské literatury přeložené do češtiny. Vybrali jsme přitom knihy, které popisují Taiwan z pohledu historie i současnosti, autory, které pocházejí z různých kulturních a etnických okruhů od původních obyvatel, po imigranty z Číny a díla zaměřující se na témata od ekologie po sociální život.

We are the only ones in the Czech Republic focusing directly on Taiwan. We have been studying the life and events of this island nation for 7 years now and are happy to share our knowledge. We can advise on travel, historical and political issues, be your guide in Taiwan or give lectures at travel festivals, tea houses or private events.
